ACI sight glasses for visual process inspection
ACI sight glasses provide visual inspection of products, levels and flow in vessels and pipework. Selection covers complete sight glass assemblies and thermally tempered MAXOS borosilicate safety glass in circular and longitudinal formats.

How does a sight glass assembly differ from MAXOS glass?
The assembly includes the body, mounting components and seals. MAXOS glass is the observation element: circular to DIN 7080 or longitudinal to DIN 7081. Longitudinal glass is available in transparent and reflex versions. Replacement requires identification of the format, dimensions and reference.
What is the function of a flow sight glass indicator rotor?
The rotor improves visual detection of liquid flow, particularly with transparent products or low turbulence. In its Type 550 documentation, ACI specifies liquid service for the rotor and sufficient flow velocity to set it in motion.
