Configuration
Operating principle and application

Liquid Controls meters and SAMPI AdBlue systems

Liquid Controls volumetric meters use three synchronised rotors to divide liquid into known volumes and determine the transferred volume. For AdBlue, the configurator includes the SAMPI bluFlow.mass system, equipped with a Coriolis mass flow meter.

Applications

  • Fuels
  • AdBlue
  • Industrial liquids
Fluid meters

Configuration parameters

Measurement principle

  • Positive displacement or Coriolis system for AdBlue
  • Volumetric meter application class
  • Identification of the fluid to be measured

Sizing parameters

  • Flow rate in litres per minute
  • Connection diameter and flow direction
  • Service pressure

Assembly components

  • Strainer and air eliminator
  • Valve and register
  • Printer and preset, depending on the configuration

Configuration guidance

How are meter class and flow rate related?

The class corresponds to the application and fluid; the flow range and allowable pressure depend on the model and configuration. The specification must identify the liquid and service conditions, as well as the required metering capacity.

Which components are covered by the assembly configuration?

Available assemblies combine the meter with a register, strainer, air eliminator, valve, printer or preset. These components are not included in every version; the assembly should be selected according to the installation requirements.
