DGC couplings for LPG transfer

MannTek DGC couplings were developed for handling LPG, including propane and butane. Integrated valves operate during coupling and uncoupling. Stainless steel construction and tank and hose unit versions allow integration into loading and unloading systems.

Applications

  • LPG
  • Loading and unloading
  • Storage tanks

Configuration guidance

What information is required to assess a DGC application?

The assessment requires the gas or mixture, product state, service pressure and temperature. Use with products other than LPG requires confirmation that the materials and seals are suitable for the application.

How should a replacement unit be specified?

Provide the existing unit reference, coupling interface size and threaded or flanged connection specification. Also identify the mating unit that will remain in service.
